I purchased the truck converted. The transfer shift lever linkages were unmodified; the emergency
brake linkage had been ditched. I replaced it; a mounting bracket for the brake lever
had to be fabbed. I also owned a '53 with a 350 v8 and TH350 automatic that maintained the
stock linkage location but everything was skewed over a couple of inches so it looked funny but
worked OK. Engine and tranny mounting on that '53 were done very nicely; My current '51 is a
bit hackier, but it works.
