To answer the engine # question apparently all 46-68 flat fender
"powerwagons" were equiped with a starting engine # of T137.
Cab serial # plates would match frame rail #'s.
Many had engine and "xtra equipment" transplants along the way.
Restorations are nice, but if you have a nice weathered "original"
there is something to be said about presevering the trucks "history
of use". The exterior finish is a highly personal thing but far too many
many people than I would like to admit, say of my WDX's "original" exterior
finish, "Don't ever paint it!".
It's just nice to see genuine interest in these old Dodges' after all
as long as it's yours, however you like it is whats important!
