Is there a way to outfit an early WC 1/2-ton series door handles
to lock (without major surgery or cutting sheet metal)? I have a
'41 closed cab with no door locks--the military probably intended
so any soldier could operate the vehicle in the field. I heard there
was a way to remove the original door handles and replace with a
commercial version with the key that goes down the center post.
Anyone ever heard of or done that?
