: : After replacing all wheel cylinders, I have this problem:

: : o Pedal movement decreases over 10-20 miles driving
: : o Opening any bleeder releases pressure and frees pedal
: : o Upon stopping, one drum (Left Rear) is hot, others cool

: : Actions taken:

: : o New master cylinder
: : o Many brake adjustment sessions
: : o Adjust master cylinder free play

: : All to no avail...Any ideas? I had the same problem on an MG. It turned out that the hose was nearly swollen shut. My foot could force brake fluid through, but the slave cylynder could not force it back. I guess it could also be a piece of trash acting like a check valve, so you might blow out your brake lines.

The brake hose idea sounds good, I had it happen to my WDX, and it is common on all passenger cars.
