1.I installed a universal unit from NAPA $20 and a plain looking 12v SW gauge into an M-37 3 yrs ago. No problem, drive it often, accurate.
2.Michelin 11.00 x 16 military with NATO tread is a great tire and works terrific on an M-37. You may need an extra leaf in the front spring pack depending on the life your truck has led. Wallace Wade in TX is where the tires came from or check Military Vehicles Magazine for ads.
