Gateway Buckshot QR78-16 36" on my WDX, So far I've gotten
20K miles w/o rotation. One tire has been a bit out
of round since day 1. Three punctures on the r.r. "tire
from hell". Of course the rear tires have worn more than
the front due to the "lock-right". The tires are just beginning
to cup as lugged tires do. In all very pleased but next time I'll
get them trued / shaved round when new.
I have some Michelin 11-16 38" on my '58 W300. I like them a lot,
but they are getting hard to find without being too hammered, as
in gaping holes, lack of tread or flat spots.
