I don't experience with the 251, but working at various Chrysler dealers over the last 9 years I have had experience with several mid to late sixties mopar v8's. The valve seats on these engines are rather soft and don't appreciate unleaded fuel. I have had good luck with lead substitutes. Just make sure to buy a major brand. Hope this was of some help.
: I'm assuming the valve seat hardness on my '66 WM300 is great enough to withstand unleaded fuel, but would like confirmation. Anyone have any info?
