I have a WC 53 with a 360. The water pump is from a wide block 318 (short snout) and the radiator outlet was moved to the left
side of the tank on bottom. You could probably make a crossover as you said. Also my radiator was relocated forward about 1/2 " to the front side of the existing nut plates and bolted from the front. Also what are you using for a tranny and clutch linkage.
