Hey Alan I had the same exact problem with my WDX after a complete restoration. It turned out to be the adjustable rod on the master cylider was to long and did not allow the releif valve to work properly. Try shortening the rod in 1/4" increments and I'm sure this will solve your problem. Its kind of funny when the farther you travel the slower your truck seems to go, mine was so bad the last time, before I made the adjustment I jacked up the front end and the wheels were lock up. Good luck I hope this works
: After replacing all wheel cylinders, I have this problem:

: o Pedal movement decreases over 10-20 miles driving
: o Opening any bleeder releases pressure and frees pedal
: o Upon stopping, one drum (Left Rear) is hot, others cool

: Actions taken:

: o New master cylinder
: o Many brake adjustment sessions
: o Adjust master cylinder free play

: All to no avail...Any ideas? Thanks!
