I'm a 20 year old who just purchased a '98 Dodge Dakota Sport with the 318. I've ordered it with the optional 3.55 gears and a limited-slip differential. According to some of the specs I've read in magazines, it should run a 15.4 in the 1/4 mile stock.
What can I do to increase my horsepower and improve that time if I don't wanna go into NOS? Some people have told me to get performance chips, dual-chamber flows and cams... Is that a good approach? I'm not looking to run 10's, but I wanna get into the low 14's. Got any advice?
