I can't suggest a distributor just offhand, but there was a fellow who had written an article on this subject. His name is Daniel Pinkham and I believe that his e-mail address is dan_pinkham@sil.org but I have not contacted him personally. Unfortunately, I am not aware of a 12-volt coil that will fit the original equipment waterproof distributor. I just asked Steve at Vintage Power Wagons about that topic and he said he didn't know of one either.
