If the transfer case has twin outputs it is from a 6 x 6, this was done quite often, not for the other output but for the two speed transfer. I'm told it is possible to put the case in backwards, and get faster rather than slower as a result. Grease shackles work well enough on all mine, couldn't conceive of the circumstances where plastic bushes would be better. Winder mechanisms are more of a problem, but Vintage Power Wagons in Iowa had both fronts and left rears. I have a pile of both, most of which I'll need but VPW mechanisms would be a better solution on the finished vehicle, if you dont do it the next owner will have too, and probably reduce what he's paying you.
