I run 36x12.50x16 radial Super Swampers on my M37.
Great tires offroad, better than I expected onroad, soft
compound helps the ride, tall height brings the revs
down. No flatspotting. Used new flaps and tubes
from Vintage Power Wagon. Gateway's Buckshot
Radial Mudder is a similar tire, might cost a bit less.
No experience with custom wheels but I'm eager to
hear other's experience-- I'd like to get away from
split rims.
