In my case, the GI issue lug nut wrench was hogged out enough that it tended to round off the nuts.
My 1/2" Craftsman works better, and the boys at the local store are used to my returning the
occasional broken tool for replacement. I always forget that the left side of my M-37 has left hand threads
until after I have them on REALLY tight...

My advice is to get the right tool though, and if can be gotten as part of a set, get the set. It is usually
cheaper in the long run, and you'll be amazed how often the other wrenches, etc. in a set come in handy.
