I put Tim's kit in my WDX. A very small amount of
grinding was required at the knuckle castings. Also
make sure you take out the resid. check valve in the
master cyl. or the brakes will drag. Brake balance is
very good. In 4 years & 20k miles the disc fronts have
been trouble free. I put nos pistons & new linings on
rear at that time. I have had to clean and hone the rears
once so far & they require regular adjustment. Also the rear
shoe lining will have to be replaced much sooner than the
fronts. One of the nearby highway grades to the higher elevations
has 8 miles of 10% average grade to go up and down, I'm glad I've
got brakes!
