Message:   I am about to put a 1970 D-100 cab on a 1971 W100 with automatic. Is there a problem year wise?

I am concerned as the donor cab has a clutch. The frame it is going to be placed on is a 383/727 W100.
Should I just put a automatic steering colum in it and dislodge the un-need clutch petal? Is it that simple?

Twin to twin I am not concerned in doing this. But am I going to have other complications due to the differences I refered to?
