Message:   I posted this question on Joe's PW forum, and would appreciate any input from the readers of this one.
This afternoon started out great. I finally have received the pto and offset adapter for my W500 that I have been waiting for over a year to be shipped. I put them on the transmission, and everything fit just fine. The moment came after filling the transmission with 90w with my new barrel pump, to start it and take it out of the garage. When I started to back up, the truck seemed to bind up. When I moved forward it bound up more. The gears all matched up and everything fit, however the drive gear felt a little tight. I am suspecting that there is not enough slack between the drive gear in the pto and the gear in the transmission. The pto is in neutral, and I can shift it between forward and reverse when the transfer case is in neutral. Any ideas? Thanks. JH
