.....I looked at a set of military top loaders the other day for the D400, one front and one rear with springs, U-bolts and 5 rims and tires,,,3.000.00 bucks and I had that plus some in my pocket.....the kid said that I should make a 4 door rock crawler out of it and put in two steerable toploaders, one in rear also so it would have crab steering which I thought would be pretty cool,, how many of you guys have a 66 Swepty crewcab rock crawler with crab steering and powered by a 440 HUH???... ,,, so anyway when I came back down to reality I figgerd I would probably just keep it 2WD with the split shift 2 spped rear axle and run a 440/auto 727 and make it look sweet,,, I could always put a HEMI sticker on the side of it and cornfuse people EH???.....I may just sell it to Norm for the 300.00 if he bites on it before noon on June 3rd....................................BNC |
