Message:   I used 235/85-16 on my 68. I didn't want to go any bigger because of possible tire rub on the front fenders when turning. I used 10 ply super swamper trexus radial tires and at the time they were about $120 each. For rims I found some new eight bolt rims at a swap meet for $40. I think they were made for a trailer but they work just fine. I can email pics if you want.
