I agree Norm, Having agreed on that,..
I am also hopeful the truckers will be heard from. They may clog a bunch of freeways, or it may get rough near the capital in Washington DC. They are the backbone of America and they can deliver.!!
I believe not having a message on oil, and mixing politics, is a mistake for a "truckers approach. We are looking the other way while China is to be in Florida's back yard. What else do ya think they will bring? Defensive and offensive armaments. That's right,!! I guarantee it, and a lot of it will be from slant six crankshafts, as well as unfortunate Poly 318's. We should learn from history. (The Japanese bought our metal just before Pearl Harbor.)
Florida to Cuba is only a channel of 90 miles. I call that a backyard.
"Geeze America, Enough already" of the chant of ignorance.!! Enough political hate, like Bush is in bed with oil companies. Or the Enron crap. Even if there were validity to riches. THAT is not the problem.
Instead, If the truckers spoon fed Congress, talked down to them, shamed them, and I do mean "shamed them," it may have some lasting effect.
An example of a message needed to be passionately carried to, while simultaneously shaming Congress on it’s very ignorance.
# ONE- We need to drill Anwar.
# TWO- We need to drill our coastline of Cuba / Florida.
# THREE- WE should embrace Cuba and Drill in our mutual backyards, as in partners.
# FOUR- Place reasonable constraints upon futures trading.
# FIVE- Continue with experimenting hybrids, fuel cells, and other means of economical transportation.
# SIX- Get diesel down in price where it belongs, cheaper than gasoline.
My Personal Wish: While they are at it, remind congress that we are a sovereign nation, and for the congress to act like it.
How the hell did we get all these liberal men with lace upon their dvd’s in congress anyway. For God’s sake don’t vote in any more women. Gordo |
