Message:   there are some shorter lifts out ther but mainstream is 12'. Also if you can swing it a nice steel beam running across the middle solves a lot of issues too. I use mine for lifting bodies, pulling engines without the hassle of a cherry picker and unloading heavy stuff (extra engs.) from the bed of a truck. Just back in under it and away you go. The steel isn't that expensive and you can buy the trolley later.
