Message:   This is what i've been working on for the past month.
I did post a few questions about this exact problem all I had done was change the O rings aswell.
I had taken the valve assembly apart 20 times and feel I know that part inside out.Out of interest I did find that the spool could be put in either way around I did think it had too go one way only as there is a groove at one end.
I didnt take off any pipes but just released the three bolts that run thru thr body of the valve. I did think that it was trapped air and it was suggested to turn the wheel a few time back and forth But that make any difference.I finally found the problem it was the shaft on the ram the rubber mounts to the mounting bracket were shot so when the ram was centered it had slack to take up giving the symptom of notching and trying to scoot the other way.
Does anyone know where I can get these rubber mounts. also if someone has a schematic I'd sure appreciate a copy,
Hope this helps.
Cheers all
John
