Message:		Sort of looks like the old pistons were reused for rebuild? I'm thinking that's quite a bit of wear on the skirt for only 10K. A little ring flutter in ring land, then cracked ring, which weakened piston crown edge then pre-ignition finished the job? The problem with Poly's is they will just keep running like nothing's wrong even with major damage! True story: Poly was running poorly, down on power, just couldn't quite handle the 12-13K load on steep grades and fouling plugs. Pulled heads for look-see and valve job and found that 5, that's five, exhaust valves had a pie-shaped piece bruned out that was about the size of your pinkie fingernail!!! Ran pretty darned good for a 3 cylinder..... or should I say
