Message:   I know you guys are talking about something a bit different but Edelbrock tech line suggested using a 4 hole 1" spacer to help with the flat spot in my 750 Edie. It did help (some) and the plus side was I could tell it improved the bottom end a bit before I got out of the driveway. This is on an Edelbrock DP4B manifold which is a dual plane. Your results may vary.
