Message:   Russ, you say how many would buy a wide or narrow bed, as if it were back in the 1960's or there abouts, Not to buy it as a "classic".

I do like my wide shorty, but those Utelines have a special place for me too. Just a classic look I suppose, but they really are neat, ESPECIALLY with the sidemount tire!! WOO HOO! I believe that the wood floor may have something to do with why guys originally bought the Uteline. I think they are stronger than a metal bed that bends up so easily.

SO, My answer...., if I were to buy a truck new... (In the 60's OR now) It would be a Long wide bed. I don't see much point in a short bed OR a short narrow bed.
