Message:   One more little tidbit: Poly and LA flywheels interchange, but can't be swapped. One is internally balanced, the other externally balanced. To use Poly flywheel on LA engine it must be drilled for balancing, per Mopar Chassis book info.

The Borg & Beck Pressure plate uses a different release bearing from the diaphragm pressure plate. In some cases the hydraulic clutch linkage can collapse the fingers on the wrong diaphragm clutch because 'throw' is different. Full disengagement plus high rpm launch can explode the pressure plate, making one thankful for cast iron bellhousings [though the explosion can break the housing too].
