Message:   While we are on the subject of frames...it is my considered opinion that the CrewCab frames were removed from the "In-house" DODGE assembly line before "Stretching" them to their ordered length. These frames were mated with the 146" length serial number tags/cabs before they were stretched to whatever length was ordered. These 146" tags are the only way to identify a CrewCab "By-the-numbers". Things got a little better in 1970-71 I.D.'ing via the tag.
