Message:   That just cements my opinion of GM.
I am not trying to impose my views on American politics, just the car companies & their strategy. I watched dealers folding all around Ontario in the 70s when Mopar was it trouble,, there was a recession in Toronto at the same time. We survived by cutting costs & keeping a positive attitude, especially to our customers. Our employees understood the threat to their incomes & worked with us,,, They were well rewarded in the years to follow. It was excellent "job security". PS we didn`t have a union shop!!!
