Message:   I think if its not simple, something rubbing and a little bending will fix it,or tightning. You have to pull the trany. Is this a 727 ? I know for a fact the 904 has 2 diff size splines, run into that 6 mo. ago on a A body b,cuda. And when it came to me it would start and the input shaft was smaller ,converter spun over input shaft, would not move and made sounds a horor pic would be proud of.I would disconect the converter from flex plate, mark it, and it should have some resistence in turning. If you can spin it freely, like a bad clutch fan and hear noise, trany has to come out ,or engine. sorry, but i dont think fluid level is the problem........JB
