Message:   Hi chaps
well am still prepping up the W200 for paint and have removed the utiline bed. While tidying up the frame for paint iv been removing unwanted bolts and brackets and lugs and filling the holes for a smoother look.
Now Iv wondered for a long time what the three brackets on each side above the rear springs are? they appear to be BUMP STOPS at least thats what id call them they all have rubber blocks in them. The two end ones which are about 4" in from the end of the springs and a central larger one. I assume they are for different applications. As they could never come into use as they are even if wildly overloaded. I took some pixs of them but being a dumb Limey i have not figured out how to post them even with Norms help.
Ta Ta for now
John
