Message:   not sure of anything at this point. but, the css had matching stripes up the hood and across the roof. a red truck would have had black stripes. and black stripes would not have gone on a black roof. going off research into the css paint schemes i have seen, the truck would have had black stripes on the hood and white ones on the roof. this just seems like a real unliklly color combo. im hoping the cheap "low quality" repaint will make it easier to tell what color things are. i know for a fact the cab was indeed "corporate red" but i need to find out what the roof was. i have seen numerous pics under the truck, door jams, steps, under the hood etc etc etc. since the floor pans from under the truck are still red, im assuming that was in fact the original color. checking around the rear window weather strip is a good idea. when it gets to my house ill have to take a look. i would imagine under the trident emblems might be a good place to scope it out as well. chances are it was a white roof, or an all red truck. but ill be willing to bet the stainless drip rail didnt come off for the repaint. ill bet theres some clues there. thanks for the ideas, shouldnt be too big a deal to track it down.
