Message:   Glad to see the forum back up, was beginning to have with-drawal problems. From what I've read the RPV is to keep about 9 PSI in the brake system. This keeps the cups in the wheel cylinders expanded to prevent leaks. Just what I've read. Regarding the master cylinder bore size, I just spent a year and $200 to find out that you don't want a 1 1/8th bore MC in a W/D100. Make that $425 if you count the first booster from MPB that lasted about 2K miles, but out of warranty time wise. You need to keep the MC bore approxitately same as or smaller than the wheel cylinders or you won't be able to stop good. If you are thinking of swapping axles or converting to 4X4 keep that in mind.
