Message:   hey dan, something i just recently learned, from my brake experience. the 200 and up used a different master then the 100 and cars. the 100 master cross's over to almost all the cars and is a 1" bore, the 200 and up master is a 1 1/8" bore and yes, some were square, but the one i had looked exactly like the 100 round master. LOOKED being the key word, the insides were indeed different.

terry, i totally dismantled the master on my 66, never saw a rpv, just an open port leading to the line. one the dual res master, does it have this valve, or is it "built in" so to speak on the different resoviors???
