Message:   A diesel gets 30-40% better fuel economy, up to 70% better in trucks when towing, than a gasser does.
Diesels emit less so called greenhouse emissions and diesels last 300,000 plus miles and can run on ANYTHING! Vegetable oil and other non polluting, non-petroleum based fuels, nuts, grasses, seeds, etc.
DON'T fool yourself, hydrogen will by controlled by the oil companies. Hydrogen is great for spaceships, it's a pipe dream for autos. Highly explosive while dispensing and about 40 years of infrastructure is needed before you'll see any results.
Diesel is HERE NOW and bio diesel can wean us off of foreign oil in less than 5 years.
