Message:   Jim, I'm assuming you are refering to the rear fender lip? Go to the Dodge link at the top see how I did Jill's PPE TW. By using a Utiline donor fender (53-85) a patch is made that almost fits the TW opening. A cut has to made in the front to match the shape exactly but nothing major. The biggest problem is the inner fender which you can see I made from a piece of sheet metal with relief cuts to form the repair. Getting the old inner clean and all the welding is the toughest part. I also flange the body to stiffen it to hold the new patch panel. The Cleco pins holding the panel in place are worth more than their weight in gold.
I've seen a few cobbled rear lips but with my method it gives you solid metal, the correct lip radius and a much better looking job.
