Message:   Part of the reason that Daimler sold out, was their complete shock that no one outside of a few elitists, wanted to buy their vehicles, just because they had Mercedes parts.
They were completely dishonest with their own customers, hiding the fact that the R Series and M Series Mercedes were build upon Chrysler platforms.

They had no clue when it came to the American Truck Market, no clue when it came to Jeep, no clue as to how to market Dodge. I see they have gone back to their typical snob appeal in their new Mercedes ads
