Message:   Yours isn't a 4x4 that helps. Take my advice if you haven't already, install a fuel pressure gauge. The bad part is my Dodge Ram Cummins isn't the only one to have all those problems. It created a aftermarket empire to come up with fixes for what Chrysler was not going to fix. There should have been recalls but how they dodged it, I have no idea. Many track bars have failed causing wrecks. If the lifetime warranty would have been around back then, Chrysler would have been bankrupt. It takes 4 years for Chrysler to get the bugs worked out of a new vehicle. 97-99 were the best years for Dodge trucks. 2000 is when some front end redesigns were done for whatever reasons, mainly I think because of Mercedes we spent Chryslers money so now lets cheapen everything up. Alot of problems went away in 2003 when the new Ram came out but they picked up some new problems, they really cheapened the truck up too. I refused to buy the new one because of the past. My journey begins for a 98 or 99 Intense blue Dodge Ram 2500 Sport with a 360 v-8, preferrably one manufactured prior to November 17,1998...day one of DaimlerChrysler.
