Message:   hey dave, ill be in your area somewhere int he next couple weeks. ill slide that dana in the truck with me and bring it along. i have a customer in lakewood, looks to be just a few minutes down the road from you. the last time i took a set of heads apart, i got one of the prybar type valve tools from napa, cost about 20 bucks. autozone has them in thier rental bin as well. and yes, they machine out the old guide, press in a new one, and hone to fit. works much like king pin bushings.
