Message:   It's not an easy job that way, but it can be done.
I use RTV sealer, or the Permatex brush on gasket sealer, it's like contact cement.
Both have worked well for zero leaks.
Apply carefully, install and tighten the bolts evenly, for best results, make sure the mating surfaces are clean and oil free.
