Message:   That hasn't been my experience, I get about 8-9 years with my Optima's, 2 -3 with conventional battery's.
I once accidentally left my radio on in my Jeep....for 8 days....DOH! The Optima fired right up! I was impressed to say the least. Optima's have a 6 year replacement warranty, then an additional 2 years prorated replacement for a total of 8 years warranty.
