Message:   Dodge Brothers first automotive contract was to build engines for Oldsmobiles. Later while building their own cars, they were the first U.S. automaker to use all steel bodies exclusively. They also built an unprecedented number of recoil mechanisms for two 155-millimeter artillery pieces during the first world war. (The French said it couldn't be done!)
