Message:		If you're talking about the DC-10, that guy is NUTS!! It carries 16,000 gallons of retardant, each drop covers an area 50' x 7/8ths of a mile. I watched the first ever drop in the mountains yesterday, the thing was barely in the air, 80 mph downdrafts are brutal to a plane that big flying in the mountains!!! Today is the first day that fixed wing aircraft could fly in most of the areas, it's been too windy.
