Message:   As far as I know, the six cylinders, both in-line and slant 6, will work with the small block bell. There is one alignment pin (it needs to be removed) and one bolt, that do not line up, but it should work OK. The flywheels do present a clearance issue in some applications.
Slant Six Bell;

Notice the bolts come in from the engine side, but do line up.
