Message:   I've recieved a request for a re-print of the part numbers for installation of a modern oil filter on the Poly 318. A very simple and inexpensive fix for that driveway stain that you will get when trying to change-out the old inverted canister style filter, and you get a better quality filtering system in the exchange.

Adapter Plate # 3671602
Gasket # 3671314, or they may have changed the gasket number to 489739AA
Threaded Adapter fitting # 2402103
Take the canister off, install the gasket, then the plate, and screw in the adapter fitting to the plate, then a spin on filter will fit. (The filter is a Fram PH8-A).
