Message:   Why do we have to check the fluid level in an automatic with the engine running and in neutral or park? I have always wondered about this...it seems to me that the fluid level in my 904 always hits about the same place on the dipstick after I shut it down and it has set for a while. Is it that the amount of fluid that drains back out of the converter into the pan varies from shutdown to shutdown? Davey
