Message:   Out application is a Poly 318 in a FFPW with NP420 4spd. From an electrical schematic posted earlier (61 Dodge Truck), I noticed two versions. One had the starter solenoid and one didn't. My doesn't since it's Bendix drive. That schematic shows a large cable from the battery to the starter relay, then a large cable coming out the other side of the relay to the starter. The other schematic shows a large cable coming to the relay, then another one leaving from the same post to the solenoid on the starter.

So now for my stupid question: What is the relay doing if the cable from the battery and the one going to the starter are on the same terminal???

Thanks for all the help,
Ron
