D100-200 W100-200
Steering Gear Grease or
Multi-Purpose Grease NLG1, Grade 2 lubricant

D300, W300, P200-300
SAE 90 Multi-Purpose Type Gear Lube
note: In extremely cold weather, use SAE 80 or dilute SAE 90 with a small amount of SAE 10W engine oil.

1962 FSM
D100-300 W100-200
Steering Gear Grease - remove filler plug. Grease buildup under plug must be pushed away to view actual lubricant level. Lube should cover worm gear.
note: Multi Purpose grease may be used if steering grease is not available

All other models
SAE 90 Multi-Purpose Gear Lube. Materials designated as "Multi-Purpose Gear Lube for API Service GL-4" are suitable. In extremely cold weather, use SAE 80 or dilute SAE 90 with a small amount of SAE 10W engine oil.

1970 FSM
All models 100-800
SAE 90 Multi-Purpose Gear Lube. Lubricants designated as Multi-Purpose Gear Lube MIL-L-2105B are suitable.In extremely cold weather, use SAE 80 or dilute SAE 90 with a small amount of SAE 10W engine oil.
