Message:   My load of scrap in July paid $210/ton - that means a 3000# hulk with no motor is still worth $300 , or about $500 for a complete truck.
What that means is if guys aren't willing to pay enough to make the pulling/packing/shipping hassle of parts worthwhile, an owner is ahead of the game by scrapping the truck.
Unless of course your time is worth less than a shepherd's is...
