I was in the Operating Engineers union in 56. I ordered up a Belvedere brand new in October 56 for delivery in 57. I loaded it up with many options including the power pak. I loved that car. It came in black as the one pictured below. One year later I had it painted Matador Red by a friend who put out superb work. I dropped torsion bars, lowered it to match in the rear. I kept it for several years. Great car.
File Photo is of a 58 but nearly identical. Gordo
