FedEx is a pain in the rear end. cant ship bumpers, grills, seats, etc by just using shrink-wrap anymore. must be wrapped in card board these days. Other wise its a real pain to get them to ship it. The reason that they state is because, it could hurt and or cut one of the drivers with the parts edgeing. don’t know how it is in other states, but here in ca, that’s the way it is, at least for me. just trying to save someone, some problems before arriving at a fedex shipping station. For me its not worth the hassle to save a dollar on shipping using shrink-wrap rather than cardboard. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Coyotekillr
